Pair of Vintage ‘Coffee Shop’ Match Boxes from Hilton & Ambassador Hotel, Hong Kong

A wonderful pair of vintage matchboxes from the coffee shops of two iconic Hong Kong hotels—the Hilton and The Ambassador. These collectible matchboxes capture the golden age of hotel dining, each featuring elegant typography and mid-century design.

One box is marked ‘ESPRESSO’ in bold, retro lettering, while the other bears an illustration of a waiter, advertising the Café Continental Coffee Shop on the ground floor of The Ambassador Hotel. The reverse sides are simply printed with ‘COFFEE SHOP’ and ‘KENT CIGARETTES’ in classic, understated fonts.
