Vintage 1950s Acrylic “Anoraks” Shop Sign

A wonderfully fun and graphic mid-century shop sign reading “ANORAKS”, cot at the 1950s. Made from acrylic and painted in bold black lettering on a white ground, it brings a lovely hit of nostalgia and character to any space. Perfect as a playful addition to a gallery wall, or styled above coat hooks, by the back door, or in a hallway with a sense of humour.

The sign has four holes for wall mounting but can also be hung using twine or ribbon (as photographed). A charming piece of visual history with a great typographic presence.

Vintage condition:
Good vintage condition with minor marks and signs of age-related wear, but no cracks or structural damage. The reverse shows old fixing points and a few scuffs from previous use, adding to its story.
