I love how loose and expressive the decoration feels against such a beautifully considered form. The little hand-formed handles at either side, broad fitted lid and raised neck all give it such a strong, sculptural shape.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt’s clearly been made by a very skilled hand, but it still has all those lovely little variations that make studio pottery so special - visible throwing lines, areas of exposed clay and places where the glaze and brushwork change as they move around the pot.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd perhaps best of all, it’s as practical as it is beautiful!
