Vintage Ricceri Ceramics, Florence Italy, Hand-Painted Glazed Birds & Flowers Wall Plate

An exceptional vintage wall plate made by Ricceri Ceramica in Florence, Italy. The Ricceri company was founded in 1950. Ricceri Giuliano, the founder of this artisanal production of ceramic items, started his activity by reproducing Florentine Renaissance items. All the objects crafted and sold by this bottega (studio) are unique, as they are entirely made and decorated by hand. 

This plate features a beautiful hand-painted bird surrounded by beautiful flowers and a wonderful blue and orange glaze. It has a signature on the bottom right corner of the plate. This is a one off unique piece and it’s just absolutely stunning! This would look absolutely stunning displayed on the wall amongst other plates and prints or equally a beautiful, and eye-catching piece on its own.
