Antique Aller Vale Studio Pottery Pinched Vase

An absolutely stunning studio pottery bud vase made by Aller Vale Pottery in Devon, circa the late 1900s. With its softly pinched form and flowing abstract brushwork in rich cobalt blue against a cream ground, it’s a piece that carries both movement and quiet elegance.

The hand-painted decoration, paired with the tactile irregularity of its pinched rim, makes this a small but striking example of British studio pottery, one that feels as at home holding a single stem as it does holding matches on the coffee table.
