Antique French 19th Century Wooden Butter Press • Dairy Cow Design

A beautiful antique wooden butter press made in France in the late 19th century. This is a truly spectacular piece, consisting of two solid wood parts that latch together with a hinge & clasp. The base of the press is hand-carved with a farm scene with a little cow, made to transfer to the top of your butter. This would make a wonderful decorative addition to any room, or alternatively if you're feeling adventurous could be used to press your home made butter!

Vintage condition: In great condition with no damage. Some signs of age to the wood and slight rusting to the hinge and clasp. Little holes in places from historic wood worm, we have treated this item to ensure peace of mind.
