A beautiful handmade wooden stool which has a child’s handwriting in pencil on the underside, we cant make out all of the writing but the names ‘Awel Owen & Mary Evans’ are legible. We believe this was made in Wales and was found in a house on Anglesey, North Wales. Based on the rectangular headed nails on this piece, we believe it dates to the 1800s.
Height: 19cm
Length: 31cm
Width: 13cm
Vintage condition: a beautiful, handmade, characterful piece with signs of age and wear, writing in pencil on the underside of the stool. Still a sturdy piece with no structural damage.
