Antique Rounded Base Welsh Apothecary Bottle, T.O. Owen, Llandudno, North Wales

A gorgeous rounded base bottle by T. O. Owen, Llandudno, North Wales. The rounded base was to ensure that the bottle was left on its side so that the wired down cork would not dry out and shrink allowing the contents to loose carbonation and/or evaporate. These types of bottles date from 1870-1910s. 

I have included an old advertisement photograph by T.O Owen which I found online to the listing for reference. 

The bottle has gorgeous handblown bubbles throughout the glass and some iridescence to parts of the glass. It would be gorgeous lay on its side to displayed dried stems on a coffee table or side board.

Vintage condition: in great condition with no chips or cracks, some cloudiness to the glass.
