This beautiful solid brass Vesta case is a true treasure — richly detailed with high-relief shell motifs, from scallops to ammonites, and in absolutely stunning condition for its age. The intricate design and golden patina give it a timeless, coastal charm that feels both tactile and sculptural.

Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, it features its original hinged lid and striker plate along the base, designed to ignite ‘strike-anywhere’ matches — and it still works perfectly. We have included a a box of vintage unused strike-anywhere matches to get you started.
