An incredibly rare and charming salt pot made by Staffordshire potteries circa the 1860s. A delicate hand holding a up a shell to pass you your table salt. Made from porcelain and glazed, this piece has a beautiful finish, with the hand painted shell and cuff. This is a stunning display piece, that could be used to hold matches or placed on the dining for its intended use. A delicate rarity that deserves to be cherished!
