Antique Bridgewater & Basker Cardiff Small Welsh Glass Codd Bottle

A gorgeous Aqua glass codd bottle made by Bridgewater & Basker Co Cardiff.  Intact with its marble, this bottle was found while mudlarking! The glass marble was added into bottles that held carbonated drinks, to keep it airtight. The pressure of the gas in the bottle forced the marble against the washer, sealing in the carbonation.

Vintage condition: in great condition with no chips or cracks. Expected signs of age to the bottle and some cloudiness to the glass.
