A wonderful Grain Mk1 miniature chain stitch sewing machine in a beautiful green colour, made in Nottingham in the early 1950s by Ernest Leslie Grain (E.L Grain). This machines were manufactured to be a close copy of the Singer 20. This excellent example comes in the original box, with the original guarantee label and spare needle. This piece has obviously been very well looked after and barely used (if ever!), it is still completely functional so would be a wonderful learning aid or equally a stunning display piece.
Height: 21cm
Length: 22.5cm
Width: 15cm
Vintage condition: In excellent condition for its age, minor signs of age, it comes with the original box (wear and age to the box), original guarantee label and spare needle in its little cardboard pouch. Fully functional.
