This incredibly rare and utterly charming studio pottery jug by David & Louise Salsbury is a true celebration of slow living and craftsmanship. A dreamy depiction of ‘A Walk in the Mountains’, it’s a lovingly hand-thrown and hand-painted piece that feels more like a storybook come to life than a traditional jug.

Wrapped around its curved form is a gentle and calming mountain scene, complete with walkers in woolly hats and walking boots, traversing craggy paths with hiking poles and rucksacks. Nestled in the foreground, a rabbit peeks out from grassy rocks — a small but delightful detail that makes this jug feel alive with narrative.
