A wonderfully characterful studio pottery mug, hand-painted by Anne-Louise at Maric Ceramics in Church Street, Hereford. This one-pint mug is as charming as they come, decorated with a beautifully loose, expressive Hereford cow on both sides and finished with soft washes of fresh green grass and a delicate blue border around the rim.
The shape is classic and generous, with a sturdy pulled handle that feels grounding and homely. It’s the sort of piece that makes an everyday moment extra charming, if there’s ever a need for a huge a morning coffee or cup of tea this is the cup for it! But also a beautiful styling piece to display a handful of garden flowers or to be used as a pen/brush pot in an office or studio.
Signed to the base and marked 1 Pint No. 10, this is a small-batch, hand-painted piece with all the warmth and individuality of true studio pottery.
