This exceptional jug showcases Parry’s signature sensitivity to form, with a graceful pulled handle, gently pinched pouring lip and a rich three-tone salt glaze that graduates effortlessly from a warm speckled stoneware base through deep chestnut brown to a soft olive green glaze that gathers around the rim and flows inside the vessel. Every surface catches the light differently, revealing the subtle variations and character that only traditional salt firing can achieve.

Stephen Parry established Ryburgh Pottery in Norfolk in 1981, following his training at the renowned Dartington Pottery Workshop in Devon.
