Large Vintage Brass Floral Cut-Out Lantern

This beautiful large vintage brass lantern has the loveliest rounded, almost apple-like form, decorated all the way around with delicate floral cut-outs. When lit, each little petal flickers warm and golden, casting the softest patterned light across nearby walls, like tiny flowers blooming at dusk.

The brass has aged naturally over time, developing a rich, mellow patina with gentle variations in tone that only vintage pieces carry. It’s timeworn, and full of character, the kind of piece that makes an evening feel slower and softer.

It works beautifully styled on a hearth, shelf or table, but I particularly love it hung from its simple brass handle on a hook, perhaps by a fireplace, in a cosy corner, or even in a sheltered outdoor spot on summer evenings.

Large enough to make an impact, yet gentle in presence, it holds a large votive perfectly.
