A beautiful and uncommon piece of mid-century British pottery, this vintage jug was handmade by Wetheriggs Pottery, once located in Penrith, Cumbria. Best known for their rich, deep blue glazes, this cream-bodied jug with a navy floral leaf motif stands out as a rare and elegant example of their more neutral-toned work.
Perfect for displaying fresh blooms or as a standalone decorative piece, the jug features a softly rounded form with a generous handle and spout. The slip-trailed decoration wraps gracefully around the body in inky blue swoops and heart-like flourishes, a classic folk-inspired touch.
