Rare Midcentury Large Welsh Studio Pottery Bowl • Rhys & Jean Powell, Llangollen, North Wales

An incredible studio pottery bowl handmade circa the 1960s by husband and wife Rhys & Jean Powell who ran a pottery in Llangollen, North Wales. This beautiful pottery piece features an incredible slipware design on the inside with beautiful blues, turquoise and black details finished with hand-applied white slipware dots. This would make the most incredible centrepiece of fruit bowl.

Base diameter: 11.5cm

Vintage condition: in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, some minor crazing.
