Rare Vintage 1980s Welsh Studio Pottery Vessel by Vicky Buxton, Conway, North Wales

A stunning studio pottery vase handmade circa the 1980s by Vicky Buxton in Tal-Y-Bont, Conway, Gwyneth, North Wales. Vicky still practices pottery and runs Porth Llwyd Pottery in two derelict cottages which she has transformed with her partner Philip. 

This beautiful vessel is such a wonderful shape, with little round imprints to make up textured flowers and the most stunning grey, brown and olive green abstract glaze with gorgeous contrasting black and red running through it.

Base diameter: 7cm

Vintage condition: in great condition with no chips or cracks, some minor crazing.
