Unique ‘Face of the Moon’ Studio Pottery Bowl

This wonderfully unique, one of a kind sculptural studio pottery bowl is unlike anything we’ve ever come across. A truly characterful piece. Hand-thrown and bearing the subtle irregularities of true craftsmanship, it features a face sculpted into the rim—complete with a small nose and expressive eyes. 

The interior is glazed in a stunningly subtle blue drip glaze with earthy undertones—like a stormy sky meeting the sea. It’s as functional as it is captivating, ideal for fruit, salad, or layered with candles as a conversation-starting centrepiece. 

This is such an amazing piece, I fell in love with the little face and beautiful glaze instantly, an incredible unique object! 

Stamped on the base with the artist’s signature, this bowl feels like a folk tale in ceramic form.
