Vintage Babbacombe Torquay Glazed Mint Green Polka Dot Jug

A stunning mint green polka dot glazed jug made by Babbacombe Pottery, Torquay. This is such a unique piece as usually these slipware glazed ceramics are found in a light blue or red colour. How eye-catching and sweet is this jug!? This is a statement piece for sure. 
A gorgeous jug with an adorable little lid, perfect for milk or to decant coffee. 

Babbacombe pottery were known for their unique glazed teracotta pieces and were established in 1952. I believe that this is one of their earlier pieces produced during the mid-late 1950s. There is a remnant of a mark on the base however it has mostly rubbed away.

Vintage condition: in great condition with no chips or cracks. Some crazing throughout.
