Vintage French Enamel Chamberstick - Vibrant Blue

I have such a soft spot for old French enamelware, and these chambersticks are some of my favourites to find. There’s something so comforting about them, humble little everyday objects that once lit someone’s way to bed, now ready to bring a warm glow to a corner of your home.

This one is a real beauty, with a rich, vibrant blue enamel that instantly lifts any space. The colour has that perfect old-world brightness, cheerful but still soft enough to feel timeless. The form is wonderfully simple: a wide saucer to catch the wax, a smooth cylindrical candle cup, and a curled handle that feels satisfyingly tactile. It carries just the faintest whisper of wear, the kind that adds warmth without taking away from the freshness of the piece.

I love styling these on a bedside table, tucked on a shelf with books, or as part of a cosy evening table setting. They’re perfect with a beeswax candle and even better with the lights low.
