This rare and highly collectible pair of mid-century studio pottery cats was handcrafted by Doniau Cudd Pottery in Bangor, North Wales. Full of charm and character, each feline features an elegantly elongated form, whimsical closed-eyed expression, and distinctive handmade detailing that reflects the unique spirit of Welsh artisan ceramics.

Crafted from terracotta clay, one cat is glazed in a deep chocolate brown, while the other wears a soft off-white glaze with hand-painted russet stripes. Together they make a wonderfully expressive pair, ideal as sculptural bookends, mantle companions, or standout decorative figures.
