Vintage 1950s/60s ‘Recipe For Preserving Children’ Enamel Recipe Tin

A wonderfully joyful piece of vintage kitchenalia, this original 1950s/60s enamel recipe tin has the loveliest sunshine-yellow finish, playful illustrated kitchenware and wonderfully bold midcentury lettering.

Lift the lid and inside is the charming “Recipe for Preserving Children” - a sweet little recipe involving grass-grown fields, children, dogs, brooks, pebbles, warm baths and freshly baked gingerbread. It’s exactly the sort of detail that makes these old kitchen pieces so special.
