Vintage 1950s Tin Sandwich Box (Option 2)

A beautifully timeworn mid-century sandwich tin in classic cream enamel, embossed simply with “SANDWICH BOX.” A humble yet iconic example of British utilitarian design from the 1950s, once a familiar sight in school bags and factory lunchrooms.

I recently found one of these for myself, and after sharing it on Instagram, so many of you loved it that I couldn’t resist sourcing a few for Hiraeth Vintage. This is the second of the two I found, showing more wear and age inside, with surface patina and markings that only add to its nostalgic charm.

Perfect for autumn picnics and snacks, or simply styled in the kitchen to store postcards, recipe cards, or treasures collected along the way.
