Vintage 1990s Porches Pottery Creamer Jug - Handmade in Portugal

A beautiful vintage 1999 Porches Pottery creamer jug, handmade and hand-painted in Portugal. The combination of rich cobalt blue, soft periwinkle and flashes of almost zingy yellow-green is incredible, with loose botanical brushwork wrapping around the whole jug and a wonderfully generous looped handle.

Stamped Porches 1999 to the base, it’s such a joyful little piece of Portuguese pottery and one that looks just as lovely sitting out on an open shelf as it does being used. Perfect for milk or cream at the table, or filled with matches beside a candle.

A really special little piece, full of colour, movement and all the beautiful irregularity of something made and decorated by hand.
