Vintage English Glazed Stoneware Handled Bottle

A beautiful vintage English stoneware bottle with the loveliest simple, utilitarian form.

Made from wonderfully weighty stoneware, with a softly speckled glaze in warm shades of sand, oat and honey, finished with a small looped handle and gently sloping shoulders. I love how understated this one is, the sort of everyday object that becomes beautiful through its materials, craftsmanship and years of use.

There’s something particularly lovely about these old English stoneware pieces; made first and foremost to be useful, yet their earthy glazes and wonderfully tactile forms feel just as at home gathered with treasured objects and natural finds today.
