Vintage "Figgjo Saga" Porcelain Plaque by Turi Gramstad Oliver

Turi Gramstad Oliver started her career at Figgjo in 1960 and worked there for twenty years. She designed various services that became known as 'Turi design', such as 'Arden', 'Elvira', 'Market', 'Lotte', 'Tor Viking', 'Clúpea' and many other series representing lovely colourful figures in a naive painting style. 

This beautiful porcelain plaque is from Gramstad Oliver's Figgjo Saga collection and depicts a traveler and his horse returning to his little cottage and family, waving in the distance.
