Vintage Floral Ukrainian Kumanets Ring Vase

A beautiful traditional Ukrainian kumanets, with its wonderfully distinctive circular form, twin handles and deep, almost inky glaze. Hand-painted with a wreath of earthy red and green folk flowers, picked out against the dark ceramic with little touches of cream.

I love how sculptural these vases are, just as lovely left empty as they are holding a single stem. A really special piece of Eastern European folk pottery, full of character and beautiful handmade detail.
