Vintage French Folk Art Wooden Cheese Mould from the Alps

This incredibly beautiful, handmade French cheese mould was brought back from the Alps. A fantastic piece of folk art, each angle displaying a unique handmade quality and texture. It has two beautifully crafted bentwood strips around the outside that holds each individual block of wood in place. It features a handmade raised base and is the most perfect rustic piece. A couple of the wooden slats that make up the mould look they have been replaced at some point, adding even more history to this already wonderful object. This is the perfect display piece for a rustic French farmhouse style kitchen, and would equally make a wonderful display bowl for fruit and fresh produce.
