Vintage German Large Studio Pottery Floral Jug – Sourced in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin

A beautiful vintage German studio pottery jug with real presence, sourced in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. This large, sculptural piece features a beautifully hand-thrown form with a bold, curving handle and a softly flared spout. The glaze has a beautiful blue tone, with creamy whites and greens in the beautiful banding and hand-painted floral design. 

Heavily influenced by the expressive, textural style of mid-century West German ceramics, this piece likely dates to the 1960s or 70s. Its generous scale and weight give it a purposeful feel, whether styled with fresh flowers or used for serving water at a dinner party.
