An incredibly sweet piece of vintage German studio pottery, finished in the most beautiful rich cobalt blue glaze with hand-painted cream polka dot detailing scattered across the body. I’m always drawn to pieces like this, wonderfully tactile, full of charm, and perfect for bringing a little colour and character to everyday corners of the home.

Originally made as a small creamer jug, but just as lovely styled on a shelf holding matches, tiny dried flowers, or beside the stove for small spoons and utensils. The contrast between the glossy blue glaze and soft creamy interior is so beautiful, and the slightly rounded shape gives it that lovely handmade feel we always look for when sourcing pottery pieces for Hiraeth.
