Vintage Hand-Painted Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls | Set of Five

A beautiful vintage set of five traditional Russian Matryoshka nesting dolls, made from wood and hand-painted in the loveliest bright colours, with rosy cheeks, little red headscarves and the most wonderful floral details.

Each little doll opens to reveal another, getting smaller and smaller until you reach the tiniest little character tucked away inside. Such a lovely example of traditional folk art, full of colour, character and charm.

A beautiful little treasure to display on a shelf, and an especially lovely stocking filler for someone who appreciates vintage toys, traditional craftsmanship and the little things that make a home feel special.
