Rooted in tradition and glazed in tones of sea and earth, this French stoneware pot bears the inscription “Le Paludier” - which translates to ‘salt harvester or salt worker’ a tribute to the skilled salt harvesters of Brittany’s windswept coast. Paludiers are guardians of the salt marshes, drawing fleur de sel from sun-warmed pools with wooden rakes and generations of know-how.
This piece, with its rich caramel base and deep blue collar, feels like a love letter to that quiet craft. Embossed with a delicate salt flower and finished with side handles, it brings rustic French charm to any space. Use it as a vase for fresh stems, a countertop vessel for wooden spoons or equally used to store your salt!
