A beautifully hand-formed terracotta wall hanging, designed in the style of a classical antefix, the decorative element once used in ancient Greek and Roman architecture to crown the ends of roof tiles. This piece features a stylised fan or shell motif rising from a small urn, framed with scrolling flourishes, echoing centuries-old patterns of protection and ornament.
