Vintage Italian Ceramic Duck Liqueur Bottle / Decanter

A wonderfully characterful vintage Italian ceramic duck bottle, hand-painted in the most brilliant mix of cobalt blue, warm ochre, soft green, blush pink and black. I especially love his little orange hat and bow tie - he has such a brilliantly expressive face and so much personality.

Originally made to hold liqueur, the bottle still retains its original cork stopper.

Beautifully decorative and wonderfully playful, he looks gorgeous perched on a shelf, dresser or kitchen display amongst a collection of favourite things. Full of that joyful Mediterranean folk-art charm I’m always drawn to, and such a fun piece to find.

Stamped Made in Italy to the base. Empty bottle with original cork stopper intact.
