Vintage Mexican Studio Pottery Bud Vase

I absolutely love the colours on this little Mexican studio pottery vase - the soft smoky grey glaze is such a beautiful backdrop for the hand-painted flowers, leafy greens and that wonderful little bird tucked amongst them. Turn it around and the decoration becomes much simpler, with loose green leaves and little turquoise dots.

It has a lovely rounded shape with a flared neck and deep green bands around the rim and base. Perfect for a single garden stem or a small posy. 

Stamped ‘Mexico’ to the base.
