Vintage Natural History Stegosaurus Skeleton Wall Plaque Tile

A wonderful vintage natural history wall plaque depicting the skeleton of a Stegosaurus, shown in raised white relief against a smooth grey tile with printed scientific details beneath.

Pieces like this always make me smile. My first ever job when I was 13 was working in a small geology museum here on Anglesey, and I stayed there through summers and part-time until I was 18. I’ve always been completely dinosaur mad, when I was little I used to dig up the garden convinced I’d uncover some ancient treasure.

This plaque has that lovely museum display feel, almost like a miniature natural history exhibit you might find mounted on the wall of a study, curiosity cabinet, or a young palaeontologist’s bedroom. The sculpted skeleton is beautifully detailed, showing the Stegosaurus with its distinctive plates and long spiked tail.

The plaque is made in the style of a ceramic tile, with integrated wall hangers on the back for easy display.
