Vintage Natural History Tyrannosaurus Rex Skeleton Wall Plaque Tile

A wonderful vintage natural history wall plaque depicting the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, shown in raised white relief against a smooth grey tile with printed scientific details beneath.

Pieces like this always make me smile. My first ever job when I was 13 was working in a small geology museum here on Anglesey, and I stayed there through summers and part, time until I was 18. I’ve always been completely dinosaur mad, when I was little I used to dig up the garden convinced I’d uncover some ancient treasure.

This plaque has that lovely museum display feel, almost like a miniature natural history exhibit you might find mounted on the wall of a study, curiosity cabinet, or a young palaeontologist’s bedroom. The sculpted skeleton is beautifully detailed, with the unmistakable stance and toothy grin that made the Tyrannosaurus Rex the most famous dinosaur of them all.

The plaque is made in the style of a ceramic tile, with integrated wall hangers on the back for easy display.
