Vintage Original Framed Welsh Oil Painting of Cenarth Falls, Dyfed - Signed

This beautiful original Welsh oil painting depicts the cascading waters of Cenarth Falls on the River Teifi, it beautifully captures the quiet atmosphere of one of West Wales’ most treasured landscapes. Nestled amongst rich woodland, with the old mill peeking through the trees, it evokes the peaceful charm of a place where generations have gathered to watch the famous salmon leap and listen to the sound of the rushing water.

Painted in oils with a soft, impressionistic hand, the scene has a lovely depth and mood, while the ornate gilt frame complements it beautifully, making it ready to hang and enjoy from the moment it arrives.

The reverse is inscribed “Cenarth Falls, Dyfed” and confirms it as an original oil painting. It is signed by the artist, although the signature is unfortunately difficult to decipher. 

Vintage condition: Presented in very good vintage condition. The painting itself displays beautifully. There are expected signs of age to the reverse of the frame, and the hessian slip to the front has lifted slightly in places, though this is minor and does not detract from its overall appearance.
