Vintage Handmade Penrhyn Slate Candelabra, North Wales, Bethesda

A beautiful, stylish 3 arm candelabra, handmade from Welsh slate from Penrhyn quarry circa the late 1950s early 1960s. Penrhyn quarry was located near Bethesda, North Wales and closed in 1962. The slate that was used to make this candelabra has beautiful blue veins running through it, typical of the slate mined at Penrhyn quarry. This is a beautiful piece of North Wales History.
