Vintage Solid Brass Bathtub Soap Dish with Verdigris

A wonderfully characterful vintage solid brass soap dish in the shape of a miniature clawless bathtub, complete with tiny taps and beautifully aged patina throughout.

We have given this piece a very gentle polish to bring back some warmth to the brass, whilst intentionally leaving the striking blue verdigris around the taps, a beautiful sign of age that adds so much charm and depth to the piece. The contrast between the warm brass and oxidised turquoise tones feels almost painterly in person.

Perfect beside a kitchen or bathroom sink styled with a favourite bar soap, jewellery, matches or small gathered treasures. A lovely decorative yet functional object with that timeless feel Hiraeth is so drawn to.
