Vintage Solid Brass Seahorse Letter Clip

A little piece of the sea, cast in brass. This beautiful vintage solid brass letter clip is shaped as the most detailed seahorse, curled tail, ridged body and proud little head, full of character. It feels weighty and beautifully made, the kind of object that was designed to be both useful and lovely.

Originally intended to hold letters or papers neatly together, it now makes the sweetest way to display postcards, polaroids, notes or favourite photographs. I love it clipped onto the edge of a book, holding a seaside memory in place, a small daily reminder of salt air and slow mornings by the water.
