A striking two-tone stoneware bottle featuring the stamp for J.B’s Noted Bath Waters, J.B. Bowler, Bath. Established 1864. While the original ginger beer and mineral water bottles were produced in the late 19th and early 20th century, this particular piece was later made for Camden Works Museum, likely mid–late 20th century, as a reproduction or commemorative example.
The bottle has a warm sandy glaze with a rich glossy brown top and bold black transfer print. Originally created as a museum display and keepsake, it now makes a beautiful decorative object in its own right, perfect styled as a vase for dried stems, grouped with other stoneware, or simply displayed as a characterful accent piece.
