A beautiful vintage studio pottery mug decorated with a soft hand-painted white crab on a subtle painterly blue and grey ground, made by Neil Tregar of Tregar Pottery.

Thrown in a softly textured stoneware and finished in soft, blues and greys with an off white interior, this piece has a wonderful weight and presence in the hand. The crab motif feels distinctly coastal, playful yet timeless, making it a perfect fit for seaside kitchens, candlelit corners, or shelves layered with found objects and ceramics.

Neil Tregar worked from studios in Oxfordshire and later on the Isle of Wight, his pieces are known for their honest craftsmanship, functional beauty, and seaside themes.
