Vintage Studio Pottery Bud Vase, Inky Blue & Moss Green Glaze, Stamped “DD”

A beautiful little piece… the kind that completely draws you in.

This small vintage studio pottery vessel has the most incredible glaze, deep inky blues blending into soft, mossy greens, like a shadowy woodland floor or the sea just before dusk. There’s a real depth to it, subtle variations in tone that shift gently as the light moves across the surface.

The form is simple and grounding, a softly rounded body with a narrow neck, perfectly suited to holding just a few delicate stems. It’s one of those pieces that makes even the smallest arrangement feel considered and special.

Stamped “DD” to the base, though I haven’t been able to identify the maker, which only adds to its quiet intrigue, a one-off piece, made by hand, carrying its own little story.

Perfect as a bud vase, or simply styled on a shelf or windowsill where the glaze can really be appreciated.
