Vintage Studio Pottery Folk Art Car Sculpture

How incredible is this studio pottery car!? A beautiful one off, unique piece with a muted blue and white colour palette and a gorgeous shape and texture to the ceramic. This is a very sophisticatedly made piece which shows a great deal of craftsmanship. It is signed ‘Jon’ on the base which makes us wonder whether this was the maker’s name or the name of the person this item was made especially for. The car has four seats and would be a beautiful display piece for a shelf, the seats allow room to fit tiny teddy bears or dolls making it a gorgeous display piece for a child’s bedroom and a special keepsake. It really is a showstopper and a wonderful interior design piece.
