Vintage Studio Pottery Floral Jug

There’s something so comforting about a perfectly formed studio pottery jug, especially one with a gentle, hand-painted floral vine winding its way around the body.

This beautiful vintage piece has been wheel-thrown in a warm speckled stoneware clay and finished in a soft, creamy glaze. The ribbed lower half gives it that tactile, handmade feel, while the brown botanical decoration is simple yet sculptural. 

The proportions are just right: rounded and generous with a neat pouring lip and sturdy handle. It works beautifully as a milk jug, but I especially love it styled with a few garden stems or foraged blooms.
