Vintage Studio Pottery Floral Wall Plate with Swirled Edge

This is such a special piece. A beautifully soft, speckled glaze in the loveliest warm cream, with a hand-drawn floral motif sitting gently at the centre, simple and timeless in that way only studio pottery can be.

The shape is what really caught my eye, that subtle, swirled edge that feels completely organic, almost like it’s been guided into form rather than forced. It gives the piece such a quiet sense of movement.

A beautiful wall plate, but would also look just as lovely rested on a shelf or layered into a table setting.

Signed to the reverse, though I’ve not been able to identify the maker, a little mystery that makes it feel all the more personal.
