Vintage Studio Pottery Handmade Pig Sculpture

Oh my goodness, how sweet is this little piggy. A beautifully handmade studio pottery pig with the most charming, characterful face, tiny pierced eyes, a little snout and the sweetest rounded ears. He’s perfectly higgeldy piggeldy in all the right ways, with a softly uneven form that makes him feel full of personality. 

The glaze is a gorgeous deep green with subtle tonal variation, sitting over a pale, unglazed base and the tiniest little feet. Turn him around and you’ll find a simple spiral mark for his tail, a lovely, thoughtful detail that adds so much extra charm. 

He’s one of those pieces that instantly brings a smile. Perfect perched on a shelf, nestled amongst books, or styled in the kitchen or on a windowsill catching the light. Small, tactile, and full of charm.
